3847 fare dodgers detained in Riga public transport in January

Statistical data of "Rīgas satiksme" about public transport control in January 2011.

Fare dodgers in public transport:
Buses	1109
Trolleybuses	1389
Trams	1349
Total:	3847

It is by 40 fare dodgers less than in December 2010, when 3887 passengers without tickets were detained in Riga public transport.

Checkups of Riga public transport:
Buses	10390
Trolleybuses	9713
Trams	6573
Total:	26676

Just to compare: there were 25955 checkups in December 2010, which is by 721 more than in January 2011.

In January 2011, the biggest number of fare dodgers was on tram route No. 6, but on bus route No. 30 there were no fare dodgers at all.
